Adressing Africa’s debt

The recent Financing for Development Conference in Seville proposed a critical look at the current mechanisms for development aid and the debt architecture that condition the future of the African continent. At a time marked by competition between powers, the exhaustion of the traditional model of cooperation and Africa’s growing prominence on the global stage, it is urgent to rethink the logic that structures these relationships. A meeting point is needed to analyse the main actors in these development dynamics and the future scenarios that may arise. Our debate  ‘African debt’ seeks to answer these questions together with leading figures from the region.
