A prospective approach to the Southern Neighbourhood
THURSDAY 14th OCTOBER
18.00 HORAS
@funalternativas #MediterraneanTrends
Fundación Alternativas organizes a virtual roundtable to address medium and long-term perspectives for the European Union's southern neighbourhood, in the light of the recently published foresight study Mediterranean Trends 2030/2050.
Along with the co-authors of the document will be experts from the region that contributed to the document’s analyses with insights from their countries and transnational dynamics that have shaped and will continue to do so for years.
Stepping away from the news cycle, the debate will look at the bigger picture surrounding the region in the upcoming decades. Which scenarios can we foresee across the southern shore of the Mediterranean? What do these scenarios imply for the region and the EU?

Itxaso Domínguez de Olazábal, Coordinator of MENA affairs at Fundación Alternativas
